Sarah Week TWO

Here Sarah poses with the bouquet of flowers that Aunt Vivi and Uncle Dick sent. Thanks. They are beautiful.Emily liked the flowers very much. She especially enjoyed sniffing them.
All the children pile on mom on the couch.

Just for Great Grandma, here are a series of photos of Sarah not looking so "sad."

Eric and Sarah monkeying around on the floor.

Week ONE of Baby Adams' life

Still in the hospital on the day we checked out (Wednesday). Eric insisted upon staying for the complimentary celebretory meal (a burned steak and insipid potato - well worth the two hour wait).

As per Great-Grandma's request, here is the takehome outfit for Sarah. She was not the most photogenic as we prepared to leave (after that excellent meal of course).

Here is the take home outfit in all its glory.

Melissa and Sarah.

Here is Melissa's mother Ann with Sarah the day we get home. She was able to keep Emily for the two days and nights we were in the hospital.

To celebrate the arrival home of sister Sarah, Emily imbibes some sparkling apple juice.

A bit tart, but Emily loves it.

Emily of course shares the sparkling juice with sister Sarah in the swing. It looks ike Sarah has had one too many. She will stick to milk for now.

On Friday, we took Sarah for her first doctor's visit. Melissa tries to comfort Sarah, waiting for the doc to come in.

Eric is less successful.

Saturday, Dale and Diane came up for a visit.

Dale sets a record for least time holding a new grandchild!

I don't know who looks more nervous, Sarah or Dale.

Sunday, Eric reads a story for Emily and Sarah. One seems a bit more interested than the other.

Mother and baby are doing well. Below are several photos of the new addition. Both parents with the newly born.

Emily meets her sister for the first time.

Very intrigued for about 90 seconds.

In the nursery to be washed, measured and tested.
